Melissa Reynolds Appointed New CEO of State Trustees

The Board of State Trustees is pleased to announce that Melissa Reynolds will be the Chief Executive Officer of State Trustees, effective 12 July 2024. She will be taking over from John Velegrinis, who has led the organisation since August 2021. We thank John for his leadership and outstanding contribution and wish him well in his new endeavours as a non-executive director.

 

Melissa is an experienced senior executive and non-executive director who is passionate about improving client outcomes.  Melissa has been with State Trustees since July 2022 in the role of Executive, General Manager, Trustee Services and has been an important contributor to State Trustees journey, as part of a strong Executive Team. Prior to State Trustees, Melissa held Executive roles at AGL as Chief Customer Officer and NAB as Executive General Manager Retail.

 

Melissa has a breadth of strategic and operational leadership experience with deep expertise in client service delivery, digital transformation and fostering client first cultures.

 

State Trustees will benefit from Melissa’s continued unwavering commitment to improving client outcomes. Her ability to manage significant change while upholding strong values, ethics, and good governance will be invaluable.
